Of absolute value are the vineyards of reference for the wines offered by ROCCA DEI SANNITI VITICOLTORI, all settled in the hilly areas of the Sannio Benevento area.
They originate mainly volcanic, with more or less accentuated clay-limestone characteristics, depending on the sites. Ventilation is generally persistent, due to their altitude compared to sea level. The thermal excursion is, however, accentuated due to the large daily sun exposure typical of the Sannio Benevento area. The cultivation conditions are therefore particularly favorable for ensuring the richest and most persistent ripening of the bunches. The summers forwarded allow manual harvests in temporally extended periods in the fall.
The Aglianico del Taburno D.O.C.G. It originates from vineyards located in the municipality of Torrecuso, a center of oenological excellence located along the slopes of Mount Taburno, a few kilometers from Benevento. They are located at an altitude of about 350 meters and are mostly exposed to the south-east.
The Taburno Falanghina del Sannio D.O.P. is an expression of selected vineyards located also in the hilly part of the Taburno area and included in the production area delimited by the homonymous D.O.P.
The Greco di Tufo D.O.C.G. and the Fiano di Avellino D.O.C.G. they are a great winemaking result of vineyards on the sides that draw the Valle del fiume Sabato, on the border of the provinces of Benevento and Avellino, at an altitude of about 450 meters.
